Cancellation & Refund
At Under the Sun Aquarium, we prioritize customer satisfaction and strive to provide an enjoyable experience. Our refund policy is designed to offer flexibility while maintaining operational efficiency.
1. General Refund Terms
- Refunds are applicable only for tickets purchased directly from the Under the Sun Aquarium ticketing counters or official online portals.
- Refund requests must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled visit for a full refund.
- Refunds will not be provided for tickets that have been used partially or completely.
2. Refund Eligibility
- Full Refund: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the booked visit time.
- Partial Refund: Cancellations made between 24-48 hours before the scheduled visit are eligible for a 50% refund.
- No Refund: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled visit or no-shows will not be eligible for any refund.
3. Refund Process
- Refunds for online ticket purchases will be processed back to the original payment method within 7-10 working days.
- For in-person ticket purchases, refund claims must be made at the Under the Sun Aquarium customer service counter with the original ticket.
4. Cancellation by the Aquarium Operator
In cases where the aquarium is unable to operate due to maintenance, safety issues, or unforeseen circumstances, the following will apply:
- Children under 3 years can visit for free.
- Children aged 3 to 12 years will be charged according to the Ticket Rates.
5. Ticket Issuance
- Tickets must be purchased in advance, either online or at the designated ticket counter.
- Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable except in the event of maintenance or operational issues.
6. Identification
- Visitors may be required to show valid identification at the time of entry.
- The name on the ticket must match the identification presented.
7. Safety Regulations
- All visitors must follow safety instructions provided by aquarium staff.
- Visitors are required to remain within designated areas and must not tamper with any exhibits or equipment.
- In the event of any safety concerns, the management reserves the right to close the aquarium temporarily.
8. Luggage and Personal Belongings
- Visitors are advised to travel light. Large bags or luggage may not be allowed inside the aquarium.
- The management is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings.
9. Health & Fitness
- Visitors with medical conditions such as heart issues, vertigo, or other health concerns should consult a doctor before visiting.
- Pregnant women and individuals with mobility issues are advised to consider the safety implications before visiting the aquarium.
10. Behavior and Conduct
- Any unruly or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate removal from the premises without a refund.
- Visitors are required to respect the property, exhibits, and staff.
11. Liability
- The management is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during the visit to the aquarium, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
12. Environmental Responsibility
- Visitors are requested to avoid littering and to dispose of waste in designated bins to help maintain the cleanliness of the aquarium and surrounding areas.
